Islam in Thailand is a minority religion whose development is not as fast as other Southeast Asian countries. The dynamics of interreligious relations during the spread of Islam in Thailand occurred in the relationship between the majority and minorities in Thailand, which was less harmonious due to differences such as religion, social and culture. As with the condition of minority communities in general, the Muslim minority in Thailand often suffers from acts of injustice committed by the government and the majority. This paper aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities that arise in inter-religious relations, especially in the context of the spread of Islam in Thailand. The research method used is literature review by collecting relevant data from journals, books, articles, papers, and other sources without having to conduct field visits. The results of the study show that the Muslim community in Thailand faces various challenges in spreading Islam. One of the main challenges is the cultural and traditional differences between the majority Buddhism and the Islamic religions. So in conclusion, the spread of Islam in Thailand involves complex challenges, but also offers important opportunities for collaboration between the Muslim community and other religions. The dynamics of positive inter-religious relations will contribute to the creation of an inclusive, respectful and just society in Thailand.
