Abstract

The migration of Tingohoa to Indonesian territory has become a significant phenomenon in the history of this country. Their participation in the national struggle helps shape an inclusive and multicultural national identity. This study aims to analyze the role and contribution of the Chinese community in the formation of the Indonesian national identity. This study uses a historical approach with the library research method. An in-depth understanding of the role and contribution of the Chinese community in shaping the Indonesian national identity is very important. This will not only enrich knowledge of Indonesian history and culture, but also strengthen national unity and diversity. This research provides insights for policy makers, communities, academics in promoting social harmony, respect for diversity and inclusive development in Indonesia.
