Perkembangan Pengrajin Kayu Bapak Nofrizal di Ulu Gadut Padang Dan Dampaknya Terhadap Kehidupan Sosial Ekonomi Bagi Pekerja Tahun 2005-2021

Abstract

This study aims to determine the emergence of a wood craftsman business belonging to Mr. Nofrizal, to know the development of the home furnishings industry, to find out the socio-economic impact of wood craftsmen for workers on the wood craftsman business in Ulu Gadut, Padang. data or heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and writing. In obtaining primary or secondary data, the author uses two methods, namely library research and field studies. The result of this research is the emergence of a wood craftsman belonging to Mr. Nofrizal, starting with helping neighbors for the first time to make cabinets and since then starting to build other furniture such as chairs, tables, door and window concentrates to be marketed. Little by little, Mr. Nofrizal's wood craftsman began to be known by the surrounding community. although at first Mr. Nofrizal helped a neighbor to make a cupboard, because the neighbor thought that Mr. Nofrizal had the ability to make. And from the encouragement of people around Mr. Nofrizal, he tried to open a woodworking business or make household furniture. Mr. Nofrizal's wood craftsman was established in 2005, and grew in 2009 so that until now Mr. Nofrizal has 6 employees or workers. Mr. Nofrizal's woodworking business has had an impact on the socio-economic life of workers, such as family welfare and to meet the daily needs of workers.
